- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Pr<sub>2</sub>ZnTiO<sub>6</sub> and Gd<sub>2</sub>ZnTiO<sub>6</sub> are prepared by calcination of stoichiometric amounts of Pr<sub>6</sub>O<sub>11</sub> or Gd<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, TiO<sub>2</sub> and ZnO (alumina crucible, staged heating at 1323, 1423, and 1523 K, 4 h each stage).</p> </abstract>
