<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Agglomerates of a few μm of the yellow phosphor La<sub>3</sub>BaSi<sub>5</sub>N<sub>9</sub>O<sub>2</sub>:Ce<sup>3+</sup> are obtained by heating a mixture of LaF<sub>3</sub>, La(NH<sub>2</sub>)<sub>3</sub>, BaH<sub>2</sub>, Si(NH)<sub>2</sub>, and CeF<sub>3</sub> in a radio frequency furnace under N<sub>2</sub> (1600 °C, 10 h; cooling to 900 °C within 44 h).</p> </abstract>
