<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adom201500073-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The development of cheap and reliable time–temperature indicators</bold> (TTIs) can greatly improve customer satisfaction with respect to the correct handling and storage of perishable goods.
