Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Confocal Raman spectra</bold> of a lithium–sulfur battery electrolyte can be recorded operando in a depth‐of‐discharge resolved manner by using a specifically developed in situ electrochemical cell with a realistic electrolyte/sulfur loading ratio. The evolution of various unambiguously identified polysulfides was monitored during a whole electrochemical cycle by combining Raman spectroscopy data and DFT simulations.
