- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2fn5h660" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />3D-gold octahedra superstructures are fabricated on a PAA brush using the seed-mediated growth method. The morphologies of the gold micronanostructures can be tuned by a strategy which opens up a new possibility for shape-controlled growth of noble metal structures.</p> </abstract>
