<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2fn3gdks" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A C₃N₄-sensitized TiO₂ nanotube array-based photoanode was designed and fabricated <italic>via</italic> the <italic>in situ</italic> growth of C₃N₄ on the surface of TiO₂ nanotube, which shows stable and significantly improved PEC activity for the hydrogen generation under visible light irradiation.</p> </abstract>
