<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>(trenH)<sub>2</sub>(trenH<sub>2</sub>)<sub>2</sub> [W<sub>4</sub>V<sub>13</sub>O<sub>44</sub>]·≈11H<sub>2</sub>O (tren: tris(2‐aminoethyl)‐amine) is prepared under solvothermal conditions by reacting NH<sub>4</sub>VO<sub>3</sub> and WO<sub>3</sub> (molar ratio of 1:1.6) in a solution of tren in H<sub>2</sub>O at pH ≈12 (sealed glass tubes, 130 °C, 3 d, 65% yield based on WO<sub>3</sub>).</p> </abstract>
