Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201403717-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Bio‐inspired 3D hierarchical nanowebs</bold> are fabricated using silicon micropillars, carbon nanotubes (CNT), and manganese oxide. The Si pillars act as artificial branches for growing CNTs and the secondary metal coating strengthens the structures.
