- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The preparation of halogen, silyl or stannyl substituted vinylimidazoles is developed and their Diels—Alder reaction with N‐phenylmaleimide is found to give tricyclic products, however with slightly different structural results.</p> </abstract>
