<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2gzgmmmd" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />One-electron reduction of 3-Cp-3, 1, 2-<italic>closo</italic>-CoC₂B₉H₁₁ followed by heating to reflux in DME (b.p. 85 °C) induces isomerisation to 4-Cp-4, 1, 2-<italic>closo</italic>-CoC₂B₉H₁₁.</p> </abstract>
