<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title>ABSTRACT</title> <p>In this work, parasitic elements are combined with inserted capacitances to tilt the radiated beam of a microstrip patch antenna. An application case at 2.45 GHz was considered for discussion. Realized gains up to 8 dBi and tilts within ±15° were achieved by the proposed configuration. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
