<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">It seems first to analyze HbA1c target rate and drop-out in network meta-analysis.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">GLP-1 showed a competitive short-term HbA1c control analogous to premix insulin.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Patients using GLP-1, like placebo group, dropped out more from study overall.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Effects were consistent in both direct and network meta-analyses.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0025"> <label></label> <p id="par0025">This finding indicated GLP-1 seems promising as an injectable antidiabetic agent.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
