- <abstract abstract-type="main" id="pde12587-abs-0001"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>CHILD syndrome is a rare X‐linked dominant condition that presents with congenital hemidysplasia, Ichthyosiform erythroderma, and limb defects in affected patients. We report the case of a 10‐year‐old girl treated with topical simvastatin and cholesterol ointment, after which her skin lesions significantly improved within the first 30 days of treatment.</p> </abstract>
