- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjqwj3w3s" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />TiO<sub>2</sub> nanorods, core–shell nanospheres, and microspheres were prepared <italic>via</italic> tuning the hydrolysis and nucleation rate of Ti<sup>4+</sup> ions. Superior photocatalytic efficiency of TiO<sub>2</sub> nanorods attributes to large surface area and high ⋅OH radical productivity.</p> </abstract>
