<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201500350-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The preparation of 1D WS₂ and MoS₂ flexible nanoribbons</bold> by laser‐induced unzipping of the nanotubes is reported. The nanoribbons are of high quality, uniform width, and devoid of surface contamination.
