<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201501014-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Hybrid nanostructures</bold> containing neodymium‐doped nanoparticles and infrared‐emitting quantum dots constitute highly sensitive luminescent thermometers operating in the second biological window.
