Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201501841-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>A novel photoactive polymer</bold> with two different molecular weights is reported, based on a new building block: thieno[3, 2‐b][1]benzothiophene isoindigo. Due to the improved crystallinity, optimal blend morphology, and higher charge mobility, solar‐cell devices of the high‐molecular‐weight polymer exhibit a superior performance, affording efficiencies of 9.1% without the need for additives, annealing, or additional extraction layers during device fabrication. <graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2frx6s2b" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></p> </abstract>
