<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The use of iodine as the catalyst and DMSO as the oxidant renders possible the coupling of diorganyl dichalcogenides with arylboronic acids and vinyltrifluoroborate (VIII) to give the title products in good yields.</p> </abstract>
