<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2fgw0wm2" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Highly ordered lamellar grains were produced by thermal treatment of the samples in a rapid thermal processing machine. The processing parameters that maximize the lateral order avoiding any degradation of the macromolecules were identified.</p> </abstract>
