<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2fg9jwbr" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A first prototype of a metallamesocate-based molecular magnetic capacitor is reported featuring up to four stepwise and reversible 1 e⁻ oxidation reactions of the two ferromagnetically coupled Ni^II ions to afford the stable mixed-valent Ni₂^{II, III} or Ni₂^{III, IV} and high-valent Ni₂^III or Ni₂^IV species.</p> </abstract>
