- <abstract> <title> <x content-type="archive" xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <sec> <title content-type="abstract-heading">Purpose</title> <p> – The purpose of this paper is to describe an approach of using mobile phones with Bluetooth technology to enter/exit restricted area. </p> </sec> <sec> <title content-type="abstract-heading">Design/methodology/approach</title> <p> – Applied Bluetooth technology implemented in mobile phones enables the user to perform the identification and the state of presence while entering/exiting the parking space without stopping the vehicle. For the successful implementation of this method for presence detection and proper identification, it is necessary to determine the values of the Bluetooth signal. </p> </sec> <sec> <title content-type="abstract-heading">Findings</title> <p> – This paper discuses a case study that has been done at entry/exit of parking lots.
