Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2ds79ffr" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />The structure and function of the Ag cocatalyst in Ag loaded Ga₂O₃ photocatalysts for photocatalytic CO₂ reduction with water were investigated. It was found that around 1 nm sized Ag clusters had strong interactions with the Ga₂O₃ surface and promoted the formation of bidentate formate species as the reaction intermediate for the CO production.</p> </abstract>
