<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2ds1mg7m" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Block copolymers of <italic>N-tert</italic>-butoxycarbonyl-<sc>l</sc>-valine 4-ethynylanilide (<bold>1a</bold>) and <italic>N-tert</italic>-butoxycarbonylglycine 4-ethynylanilide (<bold>1b</bold>) with various compositions were synthesized by block copolymerization using a [(nbd)Rh{C(Ph)CPh₂}(PPh₃)]/PPh₃ catalyst.</p> </abstract>
