<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <italic> <bold>The simple, sensitive, and selective detection</bold> </italic> of short‐sequence microRNAs is very challenging. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 10024 ff.</ext-link> N. Hildebrandt and co‐workers present a single‐step "mix‐and‐measure" FRET assay for the multiplexed detection of different microRNAs.
