<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj26bcn9v8" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A small proportion of water or methanol in the complex solvents of IL ([MMIM][(MeO)HPO₂])/water and IL ([MMIM][(MeO)HPO₂])/water/methanol, respectively, could significantly accelerate the gelatinization/dissolution of corn starch.</p> </abstract>
