Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>One novel <italic>p</italic>‐terphenyl compound, named vialisyl A (<bold>1</bold>), was isolated from the fruiting bodies of <italic>Thelephora vialis</italic>, together with six known compounds, ganbajunin B (<bold>2</bold>), phenylacetic acid (<bold>3</bold>), a mixture of ganbajunins D (<bold>4</bold>) and E (<bold>5</bold>), and vialinins A (<bold>6</bold>) and B (<bold>7</bold>). Their structures were established by extensive analysis of spectroscopic data (including ¹H‐ and ¹³C‐NMR, HSQC, HMBC, 2D‐INADEQUATE) as well as by comparison with literature reports.</p> </abstract>
