<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2b31d20m" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A novel polyoxometalate (POM) hybrid material based on a Keggin polyanion and silver(<sc>i</sc>)–organic sheets, namely, [Ag₄(apym)₄(SiW₁₂O₄₀)]_{<italic>n</italic>} (<bold>1</bold>), where apym = 2-aminopyrimidine, has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions.</p> </abstract>
