- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2b31bb0s" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Medicinally important 5-amino-1, 2, 3-triazoles were synthesized using a novel Cs<sub>2</sub>CO<sub>3</sub>-catalyzed azide–acetonitrile [3 + 2]-cycloaddition. Aryl azides and aryl acetonitriles were employed in this transformation resulting in excellent yields with high regioselectivity.</p> </abstract>
