<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2b31bbh2" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A kind of one-dimensional coordination polymer, [Cu(bipy)X]_{<italic>n</italic>} (X = 2Cl⁻ or SO₄²⁻), was prepared by Cu²⁺ and 4, 4′-bipyridine (bipy) through a facile method, and used as the adsorbent for removal of acid orange 7 (AO7) and methyl orange (MO) from water.</p> </abstract>
