- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj26bc0685" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Single X atom (X = Li and Na) is doped into Cu and Al to form Cu<sub>12</sub>X and Al<sub>12</sub>X clusters. The Al<sub>12</sub>X clusters exhibit remarkable optical absorption properties in the range of 3–11 eV.</p> </abstract>
