<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj26b77r5c" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A viscoelastic fluid formed by [C<sub>16</sub>imC<sub>9</sub>]Br and water without any additive is studied, which shows rheological behavior as a function of both concentration and temperature that invokes a transition between wormlike micelles and hydrogels.</p> </abstract>
