<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj26b5dm91" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A novel tertiary amine catalyst and trithiocarbonate synergistic photo-induced controlled radical polymerization of methacrylates has been realized under mild UV irradiation, yielding polymethacrylates with low molecular weight distributions and excellent end-group fidelity.</p> </abstract>
