- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>Mesoporous peapod‐like Co<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub>@carbon nanotube (CNT) arrays with Co<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub> nanoparticles confined exclusively in the intratubular pores are achieved starting with the preparation of mesoporous SiO<sub>2</sub> (SBA‐15 hard template) which is infiltrated by a furfuryl alcohol‐containing polymer solution prior to thermal degradation.</p> </abstract>
