- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj1zkbnkt9" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Two novel donor–acceptor organic dyes (<bold>PPL-1</bold> and <bold>PPL-2</bold>) with pyrazino-[2, 3-<italic>f</italic>][1, 10]phenanthroline as an electron-withdrawing anchoring group displayed a promising power conversion efficiency of 4.04% under standard AM 1.5 conditions.</p> </abstract>
