Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj1zk78p8c" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Newly synthesized uncommon oxalate bridged Cu(<sc>ii</sc>) chain of formula [Cu(L)(Ox)₂(H₂O)]_{<italic>n</italic>} (<bold>2</bold>) and a mononuclear Cu(<sc>ii</sc>) complex [Cu(L)(NO₃)₂] (<bold>1</bold>) with uncommon π hole interactions are reported and rationalized using DFT calculations.</p> </abstract>
