<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj1c6crhr2" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A (3, 6)-connected metal–organic framework with <bold>fit-3</bold> topology, NJU-Bai16, was reported. The small pores within the framework have enabled their strong interactions with CH₄. NJU-Bai16 was thereby found to exhibit high isosteric heats of CH₄ adsorption and uptake capacity in low pressure region.</p> </abstract>
