- <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The zeolite‐analog semiconductors (Hpip)<sub>24</sub> [In<sub>28</sub>Se<sub>54</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>4</sub>] ·4H<sub>2</sub>O (I) and (Hpip)<sub>24</sub> [In<sub>26</sub>Bi<sub>2</sub>Se<sub>54</sub>(H<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>2</sub>] ·4H<sub>2</sub>O (II) (pip: piperidine) are prepared by solvothermal reaction of a 4.5:1:0.3 molar mixture of Se, In, and Bi (in the case of Bi doping) in a mixed solvent of pip and H<sub>2</sub>O (170 °C, 7 d).</p> </abstract>
