<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj26b45647" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />Core–shell particles (soft PBA core and hard PMMA shell) were incorporated into methacrylate based composites. By the incorporation of the polymer lattices the fracture toughness and <italic>E</italic>-modulus values were improved.</p> </abstract>
