<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgjjh0d1vm" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />An efficient method for the synthesis of N-rich heterocycles has been systematically explored through solvothermal <italic>in situ</italic> generation from ligand (<bold>L</bold>) mediated by Cd²⁺. Their <italic>in situ</italic> formation mechanisms and coordination chemistry are investigated.</p> </abstract>
