<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">We describe the LTPA of older Polish citizens.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">Only 33.6% fulfilled the recommended LTPA criteria.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Polish elders rarely participate in organized, intentional forms of LTPA.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Gardening (64.6%), walking (39.0%) and cycling (37.3%) are the most popular activities.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0025"> <label></label> <p id="par0025">Sustaining existing favorable LTPA habits seems essential for health policy.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
