<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0095"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">XRD confirmed the existence of anatase phase for Pt/TiO₂.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">XPS showed that Pt existed as Pt⁰ and Pt⁴⁺ form.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Band gap energy of Pt/TiO₂ was 3.16–3.17 eV compared to the TiO₂ at 3.20 eV.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">0.5 wt% Pt/TiO₂ was the best catalyst while maximum loading was 1.0 g/L.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
