<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0005"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">Study included patients excluded from trials because of unfavorable characteristics.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">246 were evaluable for response and toxicity: 68% had relapsed MM, 32% refractory MM.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">OS was longer in patients receiving "lenalidomide + dexamethasone" for more than 12 months.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">Continuous treatment for at least 12 months was the best predictor of a longer OS.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
