Abstract:: <abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The pyrrolidine‐catalyzed reactions of benzalacetones (I) with cyclopentadiene leads to isolable intermediate Michael adducts (III) and (IV), which are converted into 1, 2‐dihydropentalenes (V) at longer reaction times.</p> </abstract>
