Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adhm201500092-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Functional living materials with microscale compositional topographies</bold> are prevalent in nature. However, the creation of biomaterials composed of living micro building blocks, each programmed by composition, functionality, and shape, is still a challenge.
