Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201405141-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Intelligent 2D theranostic nanomaterials</bold> are successfully designed based on pH‐/H₂O₂‐responsive MnO₂ nanosheets anchored with upconversion nanoprobes. They react with acidic H₂O₂ to generate sufficient oxygen for enhancing the synergetic radio/photodynamic therapy efficacy upon NIR light/X‐ray irradiation and recover/enhance the upconversion luminescence for monitoring the therapeutic process. <graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj22cdg3rf" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></p> </abstract>
