- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="crat201500050-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>The crystallization of molten system Rb<sub>2</sub>O‐P<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>‐TiO‐NiO was investigated at molar ratios Rb/P=0.5‐1.3, Ti/P=0.15, Ti/Ni=1.0. The phosphates RbTi<sub>2</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>, Rb<sub>2</sub>Ni<sub>0.5</sub>Ti<sub>1.5</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub> and RbNiPO<sub>4</sub> have been prepared and characterized. The new obtained phosphate Rb<sub>2</sub>Ni<sub>0.5</sub>Ti<sub>1.5</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub> belongs to the langbeinite family (cubic system, space group P2<sub>1</sub>3, a = 9.9386(2)Å). Three‐dimensional framework of Rb<sub>2</sub>Ni<sub>0.5</sub>Ti<sub>1.5</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub> is build up from mixed (Ni/Ti)O<sub>6</sub>‐octahedra and PO<sub>4</sub>‐tetrahedra.
