Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj1xv7scb0" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A simple and practical tandem reaction has been established to synthesize functionalized 4-(nitromethyl)-4<italic>H</italic>-chromenes. Most products were obtained in medium to good yields. Further, chromeno[4, 3-<italic>b</italic>]chromene, an important structure, was easily obtained <italic>via</italic> this strategy.</p> </abstract>
