<abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="ab0010"> <title id="st0010">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="sp0010"> <list id="ulist0010"> <list-item id="u0010"> <label></label> <p id="p0010">miRNAs profile of grouper was performed by Solexa deep sequencing and microarray.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0015"> <label></label> <p id="p0015">A total of 107 conserved and 9 novel miRNAs were identified.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0020"> <label></label> <p id="p0020">Many miRNAs were differentially regulated during SGIV infection <italic>in vivo</italic> and <italic>in vitro</italic>.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="u0025"> <label></label> <p id="p0025">Target prediction indicated that a number of miRNAs involved in immunity.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
