<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>Coupling two key elements provides a route to chiral ambiphilic phosphine boronates which can act as frustrated Lewis pairs and allow a variety of transformations not easily achieved with the individual components. In their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 7867 ff., </ext-link> B. L. Feringa, V.
