- <abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj14jcqmfn" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />The phase and crystal structure of the Na<sub>2</sub>Y<sub>2</sub>B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>7</sub>:Tm<sup>3+</sup>–Yb<sup>3+</sup> inorganic phosphor prepared by solution combustion method have been identified. These observations show that the developed material can be used in optical devices and for biological applications.</p> </abstract>
